At Kirkhill, we specialise in creating a completely bespoke experience. We operate solely on an exclusive use basis, meaning that you call the shots. We only host one event at any time, so you can work on your own timescale. Dress the house the way you want it, organise the entertainment you want and have the food and drink you want. With picturesque views over the Pentland Hills, Kirkhill is the perfect party palace. Whether you want to host a small dinner party or a large, lively celebration, our team are on hand to help you bring your vision to life.
The Grand Hall and Dining Room, the house’s main reception areas, can host up to 42 guests for a sit-down meal or 70 guests for a drinks reception. By extending into the garden, we can accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit-down meal and 300 for a drinks reception in our marquee.

This house is gorgeous and I can’t recommend it enough. Dave’s a lovely host and I hope we have a chance to stay here again. We rented to house our friends/family for our nearby wedding (could’ve had it here, didn’t realize how perfect it was until I arrived). Excellent rooms, I want this kitchen at home and I can’t get off of one of the 3 napping couches.

We just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We both truely had a magical day it was more than we could of ever imagined. All the guests couldnt believe how stunning the house, views and location was. Your service has been 5* and everything was so laid back and perfect. We could never of had a day like we did without you. Food was cooked to perfection and there was a massive variety available. Something to suit everyone even my sisters. We'll never be able to thank you enough. Can't wait to find an excuse to come back.
Wedding of our Dreams

30 of us met up for a weekend in Kirkhill mansion. All guests were impressed with the setting of the house. Inside our stay was made comfortable by a very attentive on site manager. The owner David was extremely helpful with his suggestions. Overall a fabulous weekend of relaxation.
